DSP - input compressor

DSP - input compressor
Actual interface capture from the user guide.

IN

Selects input processing before the routing matrix.

Input channels; linked stereo channels are displayed together.

OUT

Selects physical-output processing after routing.

Outputs/stereo pairs derived from the hardware layout.

Processor On / Off

Enables or bypasses this processor on the indicated channel.

On / Off; does not mute the channel.

Threshold dB

Signal level above which the compressor reduces dynamics.

-80 to 0 dBFS, step 0.5 dB.

Factor

Compression ratio; a higher value reduces growth above the threshold more strongly.

1-50, step 0.1; 1 means no ratio-based compression.

Attack ms

Compressor reaction time when the signal rises above threshold.

0.1-500 ms, step 0.1 ms.

Release ms

Time over which compression relaxes as the signal falls.

1-5000 ms, step 1 ms.

Makeup dB

Gain applied after compression to compensate for a reduced level.

-24 to +24 dB, step 0.5 dB.

Clip limit dB

Final compressor clipping limit.

-24 to 0 dBFS, step 0.5 dB.

Soft clip

Enables softer peak clipping in the corresponding processor.

On / off.

Load module preset

Loads the processor settings stored in this module slot, rather than a whole scene.

Names are configurable. An unsaved AGC/Loudness slot cannot be loaded.

Save module preset

Stores the current module state in this slot, replacing its previous contents.

Module snapshot; the card shows the last saved time.
