IoT - output controls

Open the controls

In Core, open IOT in the bottom navigation. In the Users portal, open IoT > Controls. Assigned IoT buttons are also available in a connected POS. Outputs depend on your venue assignment and permissions; button names come from server setup.

Pulse or continuous operation

Pulse: press the output name once and wait for completion. The relay switches off after its configured duration. Continuous ON/OFF: the same button turns the output on and off. A green border means OFF; red means ON. The display follows device confirmation, not merely a submitted request.

Unavailable device or pending action

If Unavailable is displayed, check device power and connectivity. Do not rapidly repeat a request awaiting confirmation. For an uncertain result, first check the refreshed state. Locked Core controls prevent operation. If no devices are assigned, ask the administrator to check the venue assignment and enabled outputs.

What ON confirms

ON is the output state reported by the board. Without a separate sensor, it does not confirm that a barrier is open, a door is unlocked or the connected load is working.
